A breath of fresh air is sweeping through the Pecëi Farm in Val Gardena. It is the enthusiasm of two artists who, driven by their creative spirit, have allowed the concept of “culture” to bear new fruit where livestock farming and agriculture once prevailed.
It is a bold and inspiring undertaking to bring people into this rural setting, especially since, for decades, the village centre has traditionally been the heart of artistic life. Today, Pecëi Farm offers a unique opportunity, throughout the year, to experience contemporary art in depth through exhibitions dedicated to personal themes, all within a truly original and unconventional setting.
Christian Stl and Armin Grunt are the creators of this project. One is a painter whose works are filled with radiant atmospheres, flowing lines, and subtle figurative echoes. The other is a sculptor who creates wooden sculptures of remarkable formal intensity, capturing the powerful physicality of the human body. Together, the two artists have found common ground at Pecëi Farm, which has recently been transformed into an art gallery.
